Lenovo, a global technology leader headquartered in Shangdi, Haidian District, Beijing, operates in over 180 markets worldwide. Committed to sustainability, Lenovo implemented an energy-efficient lighting upgrade across its facilities, targeting underground parking areas, property management rooms, and common areas.
The project involved replacing existing 28W fluorescent tubes with energy-saving 12W T5 tubes and replacing 400W high-pressure sodium lamps with 150W LED floodlights. A total of 2,700 lighting units were upgraded.
With an average daily operation of 13 hours and an estimated 250 operational days per year, the project is projected to achieve an impressive 58% reduction in energy consumption. This translates to substantial annual electricity cost savings of approximately 183,000 yuan.
